Cv/bio
I received a BA (1966) and MA (1968) from UCLA in Art History.  I then transferred to NYU, receiving a PhD in 1974 in Art History while working under Robert Rosenblum.  While and after receiving my PhD, I taught at different universities and worked for different university art galleries (Boston University, State University at New York, College at Purchase, Neuberger Museum and University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee).   As an art historian, I published several articles which now are apparently available on the internet.

Later, in 1982, believing that truth and beauty could only be found in the law, I became an attorney, and since then have had a solo practice that has kept me pretty busy.

In 1992, having discovered there was precious little humor, history, romance or aesthetic satisfaction to be found in the law, much less truth and beauty, I took up painting on the side, and, ever since, have devoted as much time to painting as my day job would would allow.
